Cracks Moved to The Tiles

Hi,

My kitchen wall has crack line which has now moved down towards the floor. The wall up to 5 feet is covered with ceramic tiles. and the crack also appeared in them. If i plaster the wall again and replace the tiles with new ones then what is the probability that this crack will not appear again.

What is the possibility that the crack WON'T appear again?  Very low.  Plaster and tiles aren't going to hold a house together.

The crack is appearing because the underlying structure is moving.  Usually it's an indication that different sections of the foundation are moving independely of each other.  If one side lifts and the other end doesn't, the frame of the house twists and the plaster cracks from the stress.

Putting up new plaster will hide that for a while but as the foundation shifts again, new cracks are going to appear.

You make it sound like the crack is on the move in short time increments, have you looked into finding the source for it? It is an indicator that there is stress somewhere, if you could fix the reason for the crack, then it would not come back. But to answer your question, "yes" you can fix that crack and it will not come back in the exact same place, but it will come back right next to it.

Aside from ripping the wall out and placing the correct cement board behind it (hardibacker or durarock) a crack isolation membrane would be the only other solution.

The probability of avoiding the crack is low - since the crack is coming from below itself, and not from the tiles thru damages. It's either your relocate or let an expert check your area to know whehter it is still safe on your property and what are the safety measures you have to take on it
