I would suggest concord with short access to BART way before Brentwood if your doing the SF commute. We are 12min from the Orinda BART station and the trip down town every day runs 45-50minutes door to office seat using the Iphone BART app with nearly zero wait at the track but often a bit of a sprint to make the train.
