I am interested in a distressed property that I understand is on the road to foreclosure. What is the best way to monitor the potential foreclosure? I don't want to miss out on the notice of auction, etc.

why do you want to monitor auction sales? It's generally more expensive than short sales as there is no way to game the system in auctions and sometimes more expensive than REOs nowadays.
