Anyone having trouble contacting an Redfin agent?

I've had multiple tours, an uploaded pre-approval letter, and am trying to submit a bid on a house.  Neither the agent that was recommended on the website or the agent who gave me the tour will return my calls/emails regarding placing an offer.  I submitted an offer on Friday (2/17) directly through the site and still have not heard anything yet.

Venk,

Could you share the two agents names that didn't respond?

The exact same thing happened to us once, Nick Chaconas, never heard back from him after we submitted an offer thru the site and also wrote to him...

Just curious, I am sure there is a good answer, but if you have gone through all of the process with Redfin, you would have had to be registered, right? But your profile says that you registered just 2 hours before making this negative comment about the agent. How does that work? Again, not calling you out and I have no desire for a bakc and forth, just curious.

Good lookin' out, Scott. However, I believe that the registration process for requesting agent representation is distinct from the registration process for submiting a comment on this board.

Re: Anyone having trouble contacting an Redfin agent?

Again, I am only trying to figure some things out here. We all want everyone to have the best experience, no matter who they choose to represent them either buying a home, listing a home or for financing. I just did a quick check, as I have never registered for anything specific, but I only contribute to the forums on occasion, I was able to view all homes, submit for a tour and get into the offer wizard, no hassles at all.

I am all for accountability, but it is sometimes too easy to disparage the competition anonymously these days. Those that do need to be accountable as well.

I read the original post as they were looking for assistance with the offer wizard, and were not getting a response.  They were trying to contact someone, not use the website.

It happened to me last summer and just tried to share my experience. Scott, if you know Nick, please tell him that an explanation would be appreciated...
