My offer on the house on Centre Court Tracy MLS11067699 for 155K was accepted on Feb 12, 2012 I was wondering what the time frame would be also my offer is cash.Thans

I too am a newbie at this post collapse real estate hunt.
Shouldn't your agent/broker be able to answer this question and in fact shouldn't they be ahead of any of your questions with a time frame outline? I would hope anyone I was working with was in regular contact with me.
Good luck, from my understanding a cash offer is king.

Being an agent I can answer this one. Timeframes for processing short sales will vary greatly from lender to lender. As the buyers agent I usually stay in touch (I mean weekly/bi weekly) with the listing agent to make sure they are turning in documents and provide me with an update from the sellers lender. If the listing agent is on top of the transaction and responds to the sellers lenders requests, calls them weekly.....the average processing time is 90 days. That is 90 days from the time the listing agent turns in a full packet to short sale approval.
