Good to finally hear something in the mainstream media, Suze Orman commented that housing prices are rising for all the wrong reasons - rampant speculation and interest rates that can be sustained at this low level for much longer.

has she been reading this forum?  nothing she says should be a surprise to anyone here.  on a related note, i can't stand her sensationalism and how she talks down to pretty much everyone, to all of the common people that are lost idiots if they don't listen to her.

- rates have been low, check

- investors are buying, check

- some folks get in over their heads, check

- low inventory, check

- not missing any of the obvious talking points when adding no substance or 'insight' of her own, check

Hey! It's only been a week since the last post.

she's sniffing glue, I'm surprised a women of her intelligence can't see this is a stable recovery in housing.

No supply, strongest lender balance sheets in decades and toughest lending standards maybe in history.

People buying houses aren't speculating, speculation occured with no money down loans now people

are paying cash and having to put minimum of 20% down with 6 to 12 month reserves in the bank. 

I couldn't disagree with her anymore, once the banks start loosening these lending standards this is

going to fuel to the fire. I've owned 6 homes and this last home I just purchased was so a pain

I almost walked away a few times.  Thier is a litle euphoria where people are just rushing but inflation is coming. The richest people I know and you probably can say the same own

substancial amounts of real estate.

I agree that inflation is coming, I see it every where I look.  I also hear that investors are swooping up properties.  Now what do we do with this information?   Buy property management stocks?  Got a ticker?

Thanks Alex but I was thinking of property mangement stocks.  If investors are buying properties in mass volume then they'd need a company to manage/maintain them.
