Just wondering about inventory in these areas. We've already seen about 10+ properties and haven't found one that we like yet! Anyone have any insight as to whether there will be new inventory in the next month or so! We are ready to move on a house if we find the right one!

There is plenty of inventory - I was showing homes and Condos in Bayside last week. I used to live in Bayside and Douglaston before moving to Great Neck.
I would be happy to assist you in a search for your perfect home. Just give me some idea of you parameters in a property ie:
-type - house or coop or condo
- bedrooms
-location - nearness to railroad or express bus or local bus
- price range
-etc
What have you not liked in the homes you have seen?

Thanks for replying. I'll send you an e-mail.
Also, strange that i've called some of the New York Redfin agents and that none of them have gotten back to me. I've even left a message with both, but no replies. Is this the norm for them to not reply in over 24 hours?

Many agents set up their marketing but don't follow up. You should have recieved responses within 5-8 hours.

I understand that the partner agents may do this, but I find it a bit odd that Redfin's own agents do not follow up. Kind of goes against their philosophy. I'm going to try and give them one more call. If no response, then no big deal. I just won't use them.
