This property is near the beach?

Check out the listing blurb for this property:

http://www.redfin.com/CA/Los-Angeles/2300-E-108th-St-90059/home/7314084

It is on 108th Street, a bit west of Alameda.  But the listing blurb claims that the house is:

(a) "situated within minutes of Downtown Los Angeles" (in the way that a mansion in Beverly Hills costs a few thousand dollars); and

(b) "a stone [sic] throw-away [sic] from the beach."

This one will go fast.  So don't miss out.

That piece of junk was sold for $400K back in 2006. Wow.

You must have a hell of an arm if you can throw a stone 10 miles to the beach.

Re: This property is near the beach?

I once got lost on my way to a wedding back in 2003, and accidentally drove through Watts at 6pm in the evening.

I nearly lost my life, if not for the fact that my car at the time could outrun the ghetto mobile the gangsters were chasing me with.

True story.

Photos: Nice job of staging. Love the Granny Flat and the security bars say "welcome home - did anyone follow you?"
