"I smell a dead rat," I told the realtor as we toured the must see 4br/2bth bank owned Woodland Hills property back on the market after the buyer didn't qualify.
"Nonsense," she said, "I'm sure it's just the lingering smell of cleaning products used on the home to spruce it up."
Guess what we found in the back bedroom? A dead rat. Without missing a beat, the realtor told me she knew a great exterminator.
And that's my horror house hunting story for Halloween.
