It looks like someone knocked down a couple of walls and couldn't figure out how to support the roof so they added 4x4 post and a beam over the portion that was removed. Certainly opened the place up. Gotta love those DYI'ers.
That must be a cliff in the back? Is that what you are refering to? Too bad they can't overlay topo lines on the map.
edit: Ok, I now see the streetview...van possibly on jackstands or is that a camper shell? and boat in drive. I guess they cash out re-fied a little over their heads.
