Hi everyone,

We are in the process of closing on a house and I was wondering if anyone has purchased a home/condo with a redfin partner agent? If yes, did you get the refund and what process did you have to take to get this refund? Does the refund have to be stated in the paper work some where? We have mentioned to the realtor that we found them on Redfin before (verbally). Any feedback would be great. Thanks everyone for your time, Brad

Hi Brad,

I'm a Partner Program Coordinator for Redfin. I will follow up with your partner agent and you directly because each transaction is unique.

In general you should be receiving up to 15% of the partner agent's gross commission to be used towards your closing costs. This credit should be communicated to the parties involved in the transaction, especially your lender if you are obtaining financing.
