Foreclosures at high end increase across Bay Area

[ Edited ]

Across the board in the bay area including Santa Clara County which had more than 400 homes valued at $1 million or more scheduled for auction in 2011, the most of six Bay Area counties.  Well to do areas in Contra Costa County are not doing any better.

Please no flames from housing bulls - FACTS speak for themselves.  And please no nonsense about FB IPO and lock up few months later lifting the tide.  Interesting article from NYT today about FB hype perpetrated by RE agents (no surprise here).  Those who get Barron's can read about the sober reality of FB.  Barron's link to those with subscription - http://online.barrons.com/article/SB50001424052748704858604577199022348125882.html?mod=BOL_hps_mag

this must be part of the millions and millions of shadow inventory we keep hearing about because I hardly see any high end foreclosures actually listed for sale.
