hi,
we recently purchased a home in santa clara county, and haven't yet received a copy of the deed in the mail. The closing was recorded in mid-october (oct 17) at the county recorders office.
Does anyone know how long it typically takes for the homeowner to receive a copy of the deed? We do have a loan on the property, in case that matters.
thanks,
-technix

you will not receive a COPY, but the ORIGINAL.
It can take a bit longer than 6 weeks, by the way, but no need to worry, since it is recorded, you do not need to worry about it
