I have also looked into PCC for real estate school and Onlineed.com. PCC will run about $1200 for 3-4 terms. This will work if you need a class room/in person schedule to keep you on track. If you can do all online classes (not using actual books) then I would say use Onlineed.com. They will cost $369 +/- for everything. Be aware though, it costs $369 for the education, $75 for the tests, $69 for fingerprinting (which is done just before the test at the testing location), and once the test is passed (Onlineed says you will pass the test on the first try) there is a $260 printing fee for the license.

I just recieved my folder of information from Onlineed.com which has all the information about getting started.

Hope that helps.

~Amanda

Oregon Real Estate Pre-License Education

I was planning on starting my pre-education credits for my Oregon Broker License this spring at Portland Community College. However, it seems like every Real Estate company's website has a link to Oregon-based OnlineEd for people who are interested in getting licensed. Both are approved by the State of Oregon.

Can anyone who has completed OlineEd's training recommend it? Or is community college the way to go?

Thanks for any tips you can share!

--Christine

I just passed my license exam going with Onlineed.com. Marilee was very good and helpful. It was fairly easy and quick for me since I already got the WA license. I'm more an in person lesson type but since I already had my WA license class before , online OR saved money and it wasn't too bad. I took my WA lesson in person with Don Relyea $700 but awesome teacher. Very helpful too. I finished it with him and got my license within 1 month. Before that I tried Japlan for 2 months online and went nowhere cuz I couldn't concentrate studying by myself.
