Call up a commercial glass company. If I understand your request, you may also need to think in terms of the rest of the project, ie: demolition, considerable carpentry and threshold prep, structure to hold the roof up. etc.

This is Redfin, not an estimating service.

I am surprised that you can get this project permitted with today's building code.. there is a maximum % of a wall that can be glass. Unless you have an existing window of 8' height x 20' width. (I doubt that.)

Once you have the glass, you may want to look into tinting to keep the heat out.

I think what you are asking about is the folding door type of slider windows that are being shown a lot in magazines, where all the windows are on a track and they can all be pushed to the side. You would need to upgrade the support beam all along the wall and I think that would cost at least $10k to do an entire wall, plus the cost of those very expensive doors. Plus, you will end up having to rewire things, possibly redo the gutters and a bunch of other things will pop up that will cost a lot of $$.

There is a glass company in bay area I am working with for replacements.

What the OP hasn't made clear is what is his/her idea of a windowwall. A true windowwall is glass the length of the building..no visible headers or shearwalls--like commercial construction.. A typical wood frame house can not be adapted without major structural alterations. Title 24 energy issues can also add a lot of cost. You need an Architect/Engineer to determine if the job is even feasible.

If you just want frameless doors put into the existing structure you need to talk to a commercial glass company.
