Just writing to inform you of some new features in Redfin that you may be interested in.

  • Neighborhood Pages: You can get the latest inventory and unique pricing trend data for any city, neighborhood, or zip code that you are interested in… and a lot of neighborhoods that you probably never heard of!
  • Streamlined Tours: Using the shopping cart metaphor, you can book multiple homes for tours at the same time.  It's now as easy as buying a book.
  • Improved Favorites: You can sort, map, delete, get updates & driving directions, and schedule tours for multiple favorites all at once.
  • Zillow FSBO: We added even more listings to our already industry leading number of listings.  And unlike other FSBO listings, Zillow FSBO listings have pictures.  Lots and lots of pictures!

If you have comments or questions about these features, you can ask them here or write to us at feedback@redfin.com.

Thanks for using Redfin!

These new features are great, thanks!

One thing that would help with the Favorites would be if you used a cookie or some other way to remember what changes a user makes to the settings for sorting, etc.

For example, I always want to sort them by Date Changed and always want the listings fully expanded. But I have to reset those options each time I go back to the page -- even after I click on a Details link for one of the properties to look at it again, and then click the Back button.
