We did but he was a single owner/agent and broker in Manhattan Beach California.

We used him with 1 purchase and 3 sales.  Great guy. 

We closed on house in July and we did get part of commission back from our buyers agent. We were initially planning on going with redfin, but decided against it as we were looking at short sales as well.

With the way the market is right now, most of the agents wouldn't hesitate to offer rebates. Almost all the agents had agreed to offer a rebate when we were selecting the agents late last year.
