I'm looking at several houses in Fontana and plan to buy one of them. But the possibility of Mello Roos taxes makes me nervous.
How can I determine if there is a Mello Roos tax and how much the tax is and does it ever expire for each house? The Real Estate Websites don't list this information. That's why I'm wondering if there is a good source for finding out the Mellos Roos info for each house that I'm interested in. Again, How can I determine if there is a Mello Roos tax and how much the tax is and does it ever expire for each house? Yours, Melvin

From here, type in the parcel # which is usually 13 digits and can be found under the property information on our site. This will give you the breakdown of the property taxes for each home. You may need to contact the County Tax Collector's office directly to ask about the expiration. I hope this helps. Angela Creech Redfin Direct Agent
