Anyone have any opinions on whether or not Polished concrete is a valid alternative to hardwood flooring ??
A friend recently mentioned Polished concrete, but i said it was too cold and bland, in comparison to the warm and comfortable sensation of hardwood.
You cant tell me Polished Concrete is a valid alternative.. or is it ??

I've seen polished concrete and it looks good and is easy to clean. I've seen concrete made to look like tile. It looks great and is hard to clean (just like grout). Both can be made in just about every color and are durable. Hardwood is definitely a different look and feel. Neither are particularly warm in the morning. However, cork flooring stays about 70 degrees year round.
