Hi
Angelta8,
A great way
to find out information on the current owner of property is through
www.masslandrecords.com. This site will give you the scoop on any info that is
public and has been recorded with the town or city. Once you have found out
which bank owns the property then you can just give them a call and let them
know that you are interested in one of their REO properties. They will point you
in the right direction.
If you are
interested in a property that is bank owned and listed with an agent then let us
know and we can give the agent a call to see if they have a contact at the bank
for you.
I have
found that this strategy works best when the bank that owns the property is a
smaller community bank because there is much more interaction between the
different departments. For instance, if a large bank, say Countrywide, owns the property then getting financing
through them does make them happy but will most likely not be a large
determining factor in
their decision whether
to go with your offer or not (price
is certainly a large factor). However, if it is a local savings bank or
lender, then it might make a huge difference
and this
will be taken into consideration along with
price.
If you
would like to discuss further please feel free to give me a call or shoot me an
email directly.
Thanks for
posting.
Best,
Sean

Hi. That sites is helpful. But I'm looking at a house in Norfolk County. It doesn't appear to be available via that website. Is there another way to see the same information for Norfolk? Thx
