I am interested in a Redfin listing for new construction. It is a single lot and not part of a development. How do I find out about the builders plans. Do I contact the listing agent directly, or must I go through a Redfin agent? Since I am sure there will be a lot of negotiation with the builder, an actual offer is likely a long ways off. There has never been an Open House and I doubt there will ever be one. How do I initiate communication with the listing agent.

Mike_M, Thank you for your question. I would suggest contacting the listing broker to find out the information but please be up front about working with a Buyer's Agent, whether it be Redfin or not. All listings agents want is to have their time valued and most have no problem supplying information about their property. In the case that they would prefer to speak with your agent, please contact us and we would be happy to find out what we are able. If and when you want to tour the property please arrange that with us. We are happy to help in any way possible and thank you for asking before acting. Feel free to contact me directly if you have further questions.
